How it works

Santas Vault prints to order in Australia. Nothing on the personalised side of the store exists until you buy it, which is why you can put any name on it, and why the item that arrives is the only one of its kind. This page is the whole process, start to finish, with no part of it left to work out at checkout.

Buying a personalised item

Pick the design. Two hundred and seventy three designs across Santa sacks, mugs, t‑shirts and hoodies, kids and baby sizes, and dog bandanas. Every design is available on every product it suits, so the sack, the mug and the tee can carry the same artwork.
Choose the size or the garment. Where there is a choice — tee, long sleeve or hoodie, S to 3XL, kids 2 to 12, bandana S, M or L — it is on the product page and the price updates as you choose. What you see on screen is what you are charged.
Type the name. One box. Type it exactly as you want it printed. The preview redraws as you type, using the real artwork and the real lettering the press will use, so a name typed in lower case shows you the capitals it will actually print in. If you just want the graphic with no name on it, leave the box empty.
Add more than one name. Add the item, then change the name and add it again. Each name arrives in the cart as its own line with its own preview, so a family of five is one order and five correctly named items.
Check the cart before you pay. The name is printed on the receipt, on the cart line and on the order confirmation. That is the last chance to correct a spelling and it is deliberately hard to miss.

What happens after you pay

The order goes to the press the same business day. Printing takes three business days, then the parcel is lodged with Australia Post and tracking is emailed to you. Tracking arrives when the parcel is lodged, not when the order is placed — so there is a gap of a few days before you hear anything, and that is normal.

An order that mixes a printed item with a stocked item, such as a sack and a Christmas tree, may arrive in more than one parcel from more than one warehouse, on different days. You are charged freight once.

What it costs to get here

Standard post $11.00 flat, anywhere in Australia, including Tasmania, the Northern Territory and remote Western Australia. Free on any order of $100 or more.
Express post $15.00 flat.
There is no bulky surcharge and no remote-area surcharge. A 1.8 metre Christmas tree ships on the same two rates as a mug.
We ship to Australian addresses only.

Christmas cut-off

Every product page carries a live countdown to that item’s own last order date, because a printed item needs three business days before it can even be lodged and a stocked item does not. The dates for 2026:

Personalised items: 16 December 2026
Stocked items, standard post: 19 December 2026
Stocked items, Express Post: 22 December 2026

Outside a metro area, order a week earlier than the date shown.

Returns, honestly

A personalised item is made with your text on it and cannot be resold, so we cannot take it back because you changed your mind or mistyped a name. That is why the preview exists and why the name is repeated on the cart line. Anything actually wrong with it — a fault, a print that does not match what you submitted, or an item not as described — we replace or refund, and we pay the return postage.

Stocked items that have not been personalised can come back within 30 days of delivery, unused and in the original packaging, for a refund of the item price. You pay the return postage.

None of this reduces your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Those rights apply on top of everything on this page.

Care

Printed garments: cold machine wash inside out, line dry in the shade, do not iron directly on the print.
Mugs: dishwasher and microwave safe.
Santa sacks: cold hand wash, line dry. They are made to last more than one Christmas, so treat them like a canvas bag rather than a paper one.
Dog bandanas: cold machine wash, line dry.
